Mary Nutter – QUEST Award Recipient
Congratulations to Mary Nutter, who was recently honored as a recipient of the BankWest QUEST award.
QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. Mary was nominated for this recognition by her co-workers.
As a Manufactured Housing Servicing Specialist, Mary handles a wide variety of duties. She is often the first point of contact for customers with questions about their Manufactured Housing loans, and she also assists individuals who are thinking about applying for a loan. Using her wide range of knowledge, she helps customers with payment arrangements, answers questions regarding insurance claims and also supports loan officers with loan underwriting.
Mary brings 46 years of banking experience to her position. Before joining the BankWest team in 2016, she worked as a personal banker, a mortgage loan officer, and in a number of other positions. Regardless of the job title, Mary has always made customer service a top priority.
“Mary goes above and beyond to help customers, treating each person with courtesy and respect,” a co-worker says. “No matter how swamped she is, she maintains a positive attitude and is always willing to step up and help other co-workers out. You can always trust she’ll get the job done, and will do it right.”
A Mitchell native, Mary is a graduate of Mitchell High School, and she and her husband Terry raised their two daughters in the community. In their free time, Mary and Terry enjoy traveling and spending time with their family which now includes five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Community service has always been important to Mary and she has served the Lions Club, the Oscar Howe Museum Board, the Summer Solstice Committee, Junior Achievement and the Heart and Sole Cancer Walk Committee.
Mary says: “Everyone in our department, and throughout the company, is truly focused on providing the best service possible to our customers. That, and the commitment we have to serving our communities, is what I really enjoy about working for BankWest.”
