Congratulations Caleb Clements – 2023 QUEST Employee
Congratulations to Caleb Clements who was recently honored as a recipient of the BankWest QUEST award.
QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. Caleb was nominated for this recognition by his co-workers.
As the Branch Manager for BankWest in Tripp, Armour, Geddes and Delmont, Caleb is responsible for ensuring customer needs are consistently met by a knowledgeable team of financial professionals. He manages a full-service team that provides deposits, loans, and a wide range of other financial services. In addition, he is accountable for overseeing branch operations and customer service.
According to one co-worker, “Caleb is an innovator who always looks to improve his knowledge, do more for the bank, and support his staff. He is active in the community and is a strong advocate of customer and community success throughout the southeast region. As a market manager, Caleb understands the importance of each individual relationship. He treats everyone, internally and externally, with respect.”
In his free time, Caleb serves as treasurer for the Tripp Area Community Foundation and Tripp Commercial Club. He is the creator of and often leads the annual community picnic and movie night. During the annual 4-H BBQ, Caleb gathers volunteers from his team to participate in and help serve the meal. As his work responsibilities have now expanded to four banks in four different communities, his volunteer efforts will continue to have a far reaching impact.
Caleb began his banking career in 2011 as a part-time teller while attending Dakota State University in Madison, SD. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration finance & marketing, he moved to Chamberlain and worked there as a personal/business banker until 2015. Looking to live closer to family, Caleb and his wife relocated to Wagner, where he worked for a credit union. In 2017, he joined the BankWest team as a business development officer and was promoted to his current role as branch manager in 2022.
Caleb says: “I’m very appreciative to work for such a tremendous organization that is supportive of their employees and recognizes their efforts. I’m grateful to have an outstanding group of employees who continuously put our customers and communities first. It’s rewarding to be part of this team, and it’s a great honor to be nominated for and receive this award.”
