BankWest Insurance Purchases Veurink Insurance Agency
Southeast South Dakota based Veurink Insurance has been purchased by BankWest Insurance in a merger that was signed Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Veurink Insurance Agency Owner Brent Veurink said the merger was a great opportunity for both parties. “This change adds foundational support of a much larger organization to our business model, while allowing us to continue providing the same level of high-touch service we strive for,” said Veurink.
Account managers Tricia Meyerink, Patricia Anderson, and Insurance Agent Brent Veurink will work out of the Platte office located at 701 E. 7th Street in Platte, SD. BankWest Insurance’s former office 417 S. Main St., Ste. B in Platte will be moved to the 7th Street office.
Brent will also travel to Gregory on a regular basis to serve Gregory area customers. Insurance Agent Guyla Husman will relocate her office space to BankWest in Gregory at 615 Main Street.
