Tanya Stangle Named BankWest’s Newest QUEST Employee

Congratulations to Tanya Stangle, who was recently honored as a recipient of the BankWest QUEST award.

QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. Tanya was nominated for this recognition by her co-workers.

As an Account Manager for BankWest insurance, Tanya handles a wide variety of duties. She supports the insurance renewal process for the agency and works closely with insurance agents to service existing clients and assists in writing new business through quoting appropriate carriers. She also acts as the first point of contact for a number of customer requests and questions.

“Tanya has been a great asset to our insurance department,” a co-worker says. “She is very good with customers, very reliable, knowledgeable at her job, and always goes the extra mile to help everyone out.”

Tanya brings years of customer service experience to her position. Before joining the BankWest team

in 2019, she worked as a certified medical transcriptionist, healthcare coder and a licensed dental radiographer. Regardless of the job title, Tanya has always made customer service a top priority.

Tanya says: “Kindness goes a long way. People want to know that you care. People can hear your smile even if they can’t see it.”

Tanya’s family includes her husband Mike, and their four children: Marshall (Jasmine), Alicia, Chantelle (Guhner) and Allie (Carrie) and 8 grandchildren: Michael, Willow, Avianna, Rosin, Rage, Rebel, Riot and Dakota. She is a volunteer for Bridled for Christ Cowboy Church in New Underwood, SD, where she teaches Sunday school, helps with treasury work, and assists in running technology. She has continued to build her personal skill set at work by attaining her Property & Casualty license, Life & Health license and CISR designation.
