Shay Jolley Promoted to Business Development Officer
PIERRE – BankWest is pleased to announce the promotion of Shay Jolley to Business Development Officer in Pierre. Prior to his promotion, Shay served as a Business Banking Portfolio Manager for BankWest. Jolley has five years of banking experience including as a part-time teller at First Bank & Trust in Brookings while attending college, eventually becoming a Personal Banker, then managing a commercial loan portfolio for BankWest.
BankWest’s Regional President Andy Hubbart notes Jolley’s drive and motivation to help customers succeed will help him in his career.
“Shay is a great addition to the BankWest lending team,” Hubbart noted. “He offers outstanding service to our customers by staying connected, providing solutions to their needs, and always committing to their best interests.”
Jolley grew up in Canistota, South Dakota, and is an alumnus of South Dakota State University. Currently, he serves as a board member and treasurer for the Delta Waterfowl Foundation’s central region. Beginning in January, he will be taking on the role of board member for the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a referee for basketball with both the Pierre School District and the Special Olympics of South Dakota.
“Building relationships in the community while helping businesses grow and prosper is a very rewarding aspect of my work,” said Jolley. “It leaves me with a sense of fulfillment at the end of each day.”
