Jeannie Kafka Receives BankWest Quest Award

Congratulations to Jeannie Kafka, BankWest’s newest QUEST Employee. QUEST, which stands for Quality and Excellence Service Team, is a recognition awarded to BankWest associates who consistently go above and beyond to deliver quality service. Jeannie’s co-workers recently nominated her for this award.

Jeannie joined the BankWest team in 2013 and works as a Universal Banker at the Pierre Main Branch. She is an exemplary professional who assists customers with deposit accounts, personal loans and lines of credit, as well as home equity lines of credit. With an in-depth understanding of financial services, she uses her knowledge to help customers choose services that help meet their needs and achieve their long-term goals.

Leadership, work ethic, and attention to detail have helped Jeannie achieve success in her position. Co-workers describe her as a flexible and patient leader with a focus on quality. One co-worker says, “Jeannie has a great working relationship within our department and with associates throughout the organization. She seeks out opportunities to team up with professionals from other lines of business in order to help her customers achieve their financial goals.”

Jeannie’s goal is simply to provide the best experience possible for her customers. She says, “I try to help out wherever I am able so our customers have an enjoyable experience every time they interact with BankWest. The amount of community involvement BankWest has and how everyone works together to make sure our customers are taken care of makes me proud to be a part of this organization.”

A native of Tulare, South Dakota, Jeannie studied Accounting and Business at Northern State University. She met her husband, Kyle, while living in Aberdeen and they now have two children, their daughter Brylee, and son Barron. They also have a Miniature-Schnauzer named Winston. Jeannie stays active in the community, volunteering with local Cub Scouts and the Oahe Hockey Association, as well as coaching her daughter’s softball team. In her spare time, she enjoys playing softball, watching her kids’ sports, boating, and camping.

BankWest welcomes Jeannie as the most recent recipient of the QUEST award. Her hard work, leadership, and thorough understanding of customer needs ensure that Jeannie will continually provide exceptional service to BankWest customers.
