BankWest Readies Newest Branch in Colman

BankWest will soon be opening its newest branch in Colman, South Dakota. BankWest is a full-service, independent community bank with 18 branches in 15 South Dakota communities including: Armour, Colman, Delmont, Geddes, Gregory, Kadoka, Kennebec, Madison, Mitchell, Onida, Pierre, Rapid City, Selby, Tripp and Winner.
Amanda Kriens serves as Branch Manager for BankWest in Colman. “After months of preparation we are excited to soon open our doors to provide local service to area residents,” said Kriens. “With the wide array of financial resources available through BankWest, I’m confident we can help our Colman area residents achieve their financial goals.”
The temporary building, located at 411 SE 3rd St., is in the final stages of preparation with an anticipated opening date in April. The temporary building will be a placeholder for two to three years while BankWest finalizes plans and begins constructing a permanent structure.
The lobby will be open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The branch will have a drive-up window and an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), which allows for deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cash withdrawals, fund transfers and account inquiries. Hours for the ITM are Sunday-Saturday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT except for some Federal holidays.
